Brighid
Fiery Lady Brighid, Queen of the Tuatha de Danaan,
This humble servant begs you, my Lady,
To inspire with rhyme, verse, and song.
Please let not my hands be idle,
Nor allow my mind to sit long.
Keep my heart filled with passion.
May my soul rest in Tir na nOg.
I request of you, my Fairest, Lady of Poetry and War,
That you, my goddess and my awen,
Speak through my art and my lore,
So that, this way, might I please you,
And when this body is no more,
That you guide me through Anufn's Halls,
To dwell with you, forevermore.
This humble servant begs you, my Lady,
To inspire with rhyme, verse, and song.
Please let not my hands be idle,
Nor allow my mind to sit long.
Keep my heart filled with passion.
May my soul rest in Tir na nOg.
I request of you, my Fairest, Lady of Poetry and War,
That you, my goddess and my awen,
Speak through my art and my lore,
So that, this way, might I please you,
And when this body is no more,
That you guide me through Anufn's Halls,
To dwell with you, forevermore.
